To celebrate the city's 100 anniversary in 2009, a competition was held by the Tel Aviv Foundation to design a new permanent exhibition to be housed in the former Town Hall building on Bialik Square. The commission was awarded to Mintz & Melamed Architects who subsequenty invited Tsubo to collaborate. Based on the existing curatorial brief, we proposed a living museum, a cultural representation of the city over time; a museum that looked to the future, as much as it looked to the past. For a city with only a hundred years of history, the idea delivered a deep resonsance with spirit of Tel Aviv.

Nine very large format digital displays encompass and define the space, mimicking the high-tech Tel Aviv skyline. A combination of commissioned works and user generated content (from a collaborative arts & social network), feeds a visitor controlled interactive exhibition space.
